description
We don't need to become the most perfect environmentalists in the world, it's not a matter of achieving perfection, of achieving zero waste, it's a matter of making better decisions. The simple fact that we want to improve is the first steep!

Aims
The objective of the implementation of this project is the adoption by the students of a responsible and active behavior regarding the environmental issues at personal level, the level of their school and the local community.
- Students will become aware of the 6 Rs related to environmental education. This objective is linked to the needs and challenges identified in schools by the fact that, although various actions related to environmental protection have been carried out over the years, they have not had a long-term impact on students and have not led to the growth of their motivation to act in order to significantly reduce the ecological footprint.
- Our students are expected to have social responsibility about the concepts of reusing, reducing and recycling and take action.
Work process
There are 5 schools partners in this project from 4 countries (France, Turkey, Poland, Romania) and there was a stage of planning the project together before submitting it for approval. The coordinator created a Google form where the other participants wrote their suggestions regarding the activities of the project. There was also an online meeting on eTwinning platform set up by the co founder to prepare the project. During the ongoing of the project there will be joint schedule for all partners, teachers and pupils, visible on the TwinSpace and continuous communication among the teachers to meet deadlines and adjust the schedule if necessary
The calendar of the project
Introduction of Partners ( 20th October- 25th of October)
Students will introduce themselves briefly creating a Padlet by using such information as ''Where do they live?'', "Do they feel concerned about environment ?" "Are they preoccupied about climate change ? Have they changed their habits ?" "How do they travel/go to school?", How often do they go shopping?", Their consuming habits : how far do they go shopping/ do they sometimes/frequently/usually go shopping locally ? Do they grow their own vegetables ? Do they eat meat everyday ? Are they into fast fashion ? Is there a system of collecting the garbage selectively in their neighborhood?"- "How does it work ?" 'What is the weather like''? "Has the climate changed recently and how ?"
Students from each participating school choose one of the profiles their peers prepared in Padlet and write comments on their profile.
Logo Designs and Logo Survey (1st of November-26th of November)
Each participating school will design a logo for the project and there will be a survey for the winning logo.

1st activity "What is your ecological footprint?"(27th of November -18th of
December)
Students will use https://www.footprintcalculator.org/ to calculate their
ecological footprint and they will upload the result in TwinSpace. They will
suggest ways of reducing their ecological footprint in a drawing or poster and
upload it on Twinspace.
2nd activity "What do we know about the 6 Rs?" (10th January – 24thJanuary)
Students will do videos, using Padlet or Canvas about the 6Rs - Rethink,
Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rot and they upload them on Twinspace. They

Recommended device is Etwinning online meeting tool.
Expected results
An exhibition in each school with the title "We may never reach Zero in "Zero Waste", but that is no reason to take Zero action." The exhibition will include: photos showing students working during the project, QR codes leading to their videos, their posters, a sustainable decalogue of 10 things we can do in order to have a sustainable lifestyle.
